BCI has performed on several projects expanding Phillips’ Terminal capacity and capabilities to transfer product to existing facilities throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.
BCI fabricated and installed piping and other mechanical equipment for the off-site portion of the Gasification project. BMI has maintained a capital projects group in this plant for most of its 45 years in business.
Cooling Tower Piping Project. BCI fabricated and installed piping and structural steel to new offsite cooling tower. The was BCI’s first project at NCRA. As a result of our success on this project we were to requested to perform additional piping and tie-in work during the upcoming turnaround.
General maintenance including but not limited to structural steel fab & erection, piping fab & install, loading station, platforms & trolley system construction.
BCI was recruited by a prior client representative to assist the Design/Building Contractor in completing the piping portion of their project. BCI’s portion of the project involved quickly staffing the project with over 30 personnel.
An example of the integrated services provided by the C-Tech group of companies to our customers is our involvement in the construction of the new BG Products plant in El Dorado, Kansas. ConFab Incorporated was contracted to provide engineering design, fabrication, and installation of a 760 foot, multi-tier main exterior pipe rack that serves the entire plant. In addition, ConFab fabricated and installed all stairs, railings, ladders, and other miscellaneous metal fabrications necessary for the new manufacturing facility. Blackburn Construction, Inc. was contracted to set all exterior tanks along with associated access platforms, stairs, ladders, and handrails. Industrial Insulation Services, Inc. performed insulation installation and blankets on the exterior piping, tanks, and vessels.
Blackburn Construction, Inc. was contracted by BG Products to act as general contractor for their new El Dorado Distribution Warehouse facility. The facility consisted of 50,000 sf of warehouse space for storage and distribution of hazardous materials and 2,900 sf of office space. Project also included all site improvements such as paved truck approach and parking area and security fencing.
